Committee Meeting Minutes
Holiday Party will be 12/15/08, this will be the last group meeting before the new year. We will resume regular weekly meetings on Monday January 5th, 2009. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a best wishes for a new year of happiness and health for everyone!! It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful group of boys and parents involved in this group.
IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL YEAR THANKS TO ALL THE WONDERFUL FAMILIES THAT HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM WITH US THIS YEAR. WE HOPE THAT EVERYONE RETURNS FOR MORE!!

-KIDS NEED TO STAY INSIDE FOR OVERALL SAFETY REASONS, KIDS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY OUTSIDE WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION
-PINEWOOD DERBY WINNERS-trophies for 1st-3rd place, medals for all
-TSHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS HAVE BEEN ORDERED, WE HOPE TO HAVE THEM BACK IN TIME FOR CAMPING TRIP!!
-CAMPING

2/27/08:
-Blue and Gold Banquet seemed to be big success!!
We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
-Leaders and Assistant leaders need to have applications on file, starting in
2009 the Boy Scouts of America are going to require some training for our adult
leaders, it is only recommended as of now.
-Events/suggestions for summer activities. To keep the boys engaged and
interested we are hoping to do 1 or 2 events/activities each month during the
summer. We will not have our regular Monday meetings during the summer. The
boys are encouraged to continue to look through their books and complete any
activities that they would like.
-Mike Maguire has offered his property in the poconos for a weekend camp trip in
the summer. More info to come.
-We discussed ordering cub pack t-shirts for the boys.
-March 3rd and 10th pack meetings will be dedicated to the dad's and tools..to
help the boys design cars..get in contact with Bob if you can help via
email/cell 610-306-1164..
-PINEWOOD derby March 24th, we will start at 7pm, this night usually runs a
little longer. We plan on providing hot dogs for the event.
-CAMPING April 11th-13th!!!! We need to start to get a count of who is coming
if you know you are definitely coming please let me know, thanks!
-Camden Riversharks Baseball Game and overnight camp to be June 13th, more info
to come.
